Make-Up and Uniform Info for Girls

**Hair will curl much better if it has gel in it.  Sometimes dirty hair holds curl much better!  You will need to experiment with it before the concert/contest!

**Have hair curled and makeup done 1 hour before warm up to hair hair finished off.

** Once you’ve gone back to the home room to start getting ready, please do not return   to watch more groups.

** Make sure your hair, makeup and nails are complete before putting on your costume    and jewelry. 

**Please do not walk around in your costume with “fuzzy slippers” and curlers in your      hair.

  *we are trying to keep your costumes a bit of a surprise to the audience, so once             you’ve put it on, no wandering around in the hall and cafeteria.

**Please do not wear underwear underneath your pantyhose.  Thongs do show!!!!!!!!

**Make sure you buy the appropriate bra to go with your costume!  Nude is the best choice in color.

**If your hair is long and needs to be pulled back away from your face, please, make sure you have a rhinestone barrette (Claire's).  Do not have a big black ponytail holder and bobby pins!

** Remember this is a team!  Please take all of your piercings out and cover your tattoos.  The goal is to have the team looking identical.  Save your individualism for off the stage.  if 1 person is missing their necklace, the rest of your team will have to take theirs off too!

**Try to paint your nails ahead off time!  It’s hard to paint them and get ready at the last minute.  This can be done the day before!

**Remember that concerts are just the same as competitions!   We should perform just as well for our home crowd who doesn’t always see us when we are on the road!  All rules apply to concerts!

** Follow ALL the above regulations and represent our school well!

Makeup will be purchased by the school for you to borrow, not to take home.  You will need to use new applicators (the school will have) every time you use the makeup to keep it sanitary.  You may purchase your own at a savings from me on all of your makeup needs.    If you have a make-up consultant of your own, please buy your make-up from them.

School will provide all these things for you to use if you would like.  If you would like your own,  take 25% off the price, plus tax.  If you would  like to purchase anything other than these listed above, I will take 25% off that too.  You can check out www.marykay.com to see the colors listed above .   Please add 5% tax to the total bill as well.

  You can get the following items from a Mary Kay representative (prices above), or you can have your own.......Black mascara, foundation, eyebrow pencil and clear lip gloss.
