| 'A Touch of Class' Information | ||
| Admission Admission is $10.00 for the entire day. Children under 5 are admitted free. All others pay full admission. Your admission price will get you a stamp which with which you can gain access to the morning and afternoon sessions, as well as the championship finals. Benton Community patrons (parents, relatives of BC performers, etc..) can get a reduced rate by coming to the high school the night BEFORE “A Touch of Class” and purchasing tickets. Any BC parents that are working the event do not need to pay admission.

| Sound and Lighting We take great pride in our sound and lighting system. In 2002 we installed a brand new sound system designed especially for "A Touch of Class". We have an auditorium for our concerts, so this system was built with a show choir invitational in mind. We are very proud that our gym doesn't have a "gym sound". A former student at BC who is now on the road as a professional sound technician comes to run the system and also brings sound "reinforcements". We have as many cordless mics as you will need! Our lighting system is also brand new and adds to the excitement for the day. Top of the Page! |

| Facilities One of the reasons our invitational seems so accommodating is that we have the facilities to make everyone have a smooth and relaxing experience. We keep the invitational small so there's room for everyone. Our fine arts wing with an auditorium gives ample room for warm-ups before moving to the performance area. We will not be offering a picture room anymore due to the lack of interest. Each show choir has a vocal warm-up room, and then a final run in our auditorium. Once in the gym you'll find it spacious and comfortable. It is three basketball courts wide, so there is plenty of storage behind the stage. Every single seat (including the bleachers) are facing directly toward the stage. No sore necks after a day at "A Touch of Class"!! Our raised stage is also brand new in 2004. | Homerooms Each group will have their own homeroom. Our students work very hard to make the homeroom a memorable part of the day. The homerooms always take a theme from the group and decorate around that. They spend weeks imagining, shopping, cutting, coloring, building and creating a wonderful homeroom for each group. At BC we have a competition among the kids and we actually award prizes to the BC kids for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for the top homerooms!
